Camp Fire USA Customer Testimonial Positive Performance Improvement The following positive performance improvement testimonial was provided to AGILEAN by Jane White Vulliet, CEO of Camp Fire USA. # # # # “Camp Fire was founded in 1910 by Luther Gluick, M. D,, and his wife, Charlotte Gulick, as the first nonsectarian, interracial organization for girls in the United States. In 1975, membership was expanded to include boys. Today, Camp Fire engages more than 600,000 children and youth annually. “The Central Puget Sound Council of Camp Fire USA serves youth and their families in King, Kitsap, and north Mason Counties of Washington State. Our staff and volunteers are passionate about the life long values and friendships we foster with our programs. In fact many of them participated in Camp Fire in their youth. “But in this era of doing more with less, we realize the way Camp Fire has traditionally been operated is no longer allowing us to fully leverage the strengths of our organization to maximize the value we provide the community. It was time for a fresh perspective. “On the recommendation from another colleague, I contacted AGILEAN and asked them to conduct a series of workshops with my senior management team. I heard that AGILEAN’s approach paved the way for meaningful changes in productivity, while maintaining a distinctly positive impact on the organization. “AGILEAN provided us a new way to look at some old issues. Rather than see problems and find solutions, AGILEAN showed us how to increase the value we provide to the community — one activity at a time.
